The Weeping Radish is North Carolina’s oldest micro brewery.
All
the beers are brewed with only “Hops, Malt, Yeast and Water”. The beers are unfiltered which means that all natural vitamins
and minerals have not been removed. In Bavaria this is called
“Reinheitsgebot Bier”, which by the way is the first consumer
protection law in the world going back to 1516.
The award winning styles include
Black Radish Beer,
Corolla Gold
Beer,
Hefe Weizen Beer and
Fest Beer, as well as
Christmas Beer
and
Spring Bock.
The beer is available draft, in 1/2 Liter bottles and in re-fillable
flip tops. Keg rentals are also available.
Brewery Tours are scheduled weekly, please call for times.

The History of
the Weeping Radish Brewery
The Weeping
Radish Brewery is North Carolina’s oldest micro
brewery. In production since 1986, the original
brewery was located at the Manteo restaurant. In
2006 we opened the new brewery at our Eco Farm in
Jarvisburg, close to the Cotton Gin in Currituck
County. Brewery Tours are held in season, please
call for times. The self guided tour is open daily
between 11 am till closing.
Weeping Radish
beers have won many awards over the years. The Black
Radish is featured in the Guide to Beer Judging, as
the example of a classic dark lager beer. Our Black
Radish beer has also recently been chosen online as
“One of 50 beers to drink before you die.”
